In this interactive 2-hour Lean event, attendees will go beyond theory to see how the Last Planner System® (LPS®) is used on real construction projects to improve reliability, flow, and team alignment. We’ll start by grounding LPS in real-world examples, showing how project teams apply Lean principles to plan work collaboratively, manage constraints, and deliver to milestones with greater confidence.
The heart of the session is a live, participatory mock Last Planner exercise built around a fictitious project. Attendees will step into the role of project team members, working together to create plans, identify and remove constraints, make reliable promises, and use visual tools to coordinate work. Along the way, we’ll highlight practical techniques for collaborative planning, constraint management, visual planning systems, milestone-based thinking, and building trust through reliable promising.
Whether you’re new to Lean or looking to deepen your understanding of LPS, this session offers a clear, engaging look at how better planning behaviors lead to better project outcomes—and gives you tools you can take back to your next job immediately.
Highly recommended attendance for Superintendents, Foreman, and Project Managers.
