NEW: LCI Why Projects Excel: The Business Case for Lean

The Lean Construction Institute in partnership with Dodge Data and Analytics studied almost 1,500 projects to identify the impact of project delivery choices on project performance for Owners, Designers and Contractors. By comparing best projects to typical projects we identified key organizational, commercial and operational factors that generated better project outcomes. The overall results for each stakeholder were as follows:

1. Owners have higher likelihood of projects completing ahead of schedule and under budget
2. Designers have higher likelihood of clients being a strategic partner during design process and achieve higher design excellence
3. Contractors have higher likelihood of employee engagement and repeat work

This presentation will highlight the results of the study and participants will gain strategic insights for improving projects. Specific learning objectives include:
