Ready, Set, Showcase: Prep for Capability Assessment Success

LCI Webinar Graphic
Preparing for the LCI Certification Capabilities Assessment? This interactive workshop is designed to help candidates understand what the assessment is asking for and how to approach their portfolio submission with greater clarity and confidence.

The Capabilities Assessment is where candidates demonstrate how they have applied Lean Project Delivery practices in real-world project settings. This workshop will help participants better understand the prompt structure, how to select strong project examples, how to explain their role and actions, and how to use artifacts to support their responses. Participants will leave with practical guidance, preparation resources, and a clearer plan for completing their submission.

Who should attend
This workshop is designed for LCI Certification candidates who have passed the Knowledge Assessment and are preparing to complete the Capabilities Assessment. It is also helpful for candidates who are currently gathering examples, reviewing the handbook, organizing project artifacts, or trying to understand how to translate their Lean experience into clear portfolio responses.

Why attend
The Capabilities Assessment is not just about knowing Lean terminology. It asks candidates to show how they have applied Lean thinking, behaviors, and practices in real project conditions. Attending this workshop will help candidates better understand what strong responses include, how to avoid common gaps, and how to connect their experience to the assessment criteria.

What to expect

Understand the structure of the Capabilities Assessment, including the required prompt sections, optional prompt choices, and submission expectations.
Learn how to choose and frame real project examples that clearly show your role, actions, decision-making, outcomes, and lessons learned.
Review how to strengthen artifacts and portfolio responses, including how to provide context, captions, and evidence that support your written reflections.
Leave with helpful preparation resources, including handbook guidance, response-planning tips, artifact collection recommendations, and next steps for submitting the assessment.

This workshop will not complete the assessment for candidates or guarantee a passing result. It is designed to help candidates prepare with clarity, organize their experience, and approach the Capabilities Assessment with confidence.
