Target Value Delivery (TVD) is a disciplined management practice used throughout the project to ensure that the facility meets the operational needs and values of the users, is delivered within the allowable budget, and promotes innovation throughout the process to increase value and eliminate waste. TVD generates a creative tension between driving up quality and driving cost down, aiming to maximize the value for the client and the users within project constraints. The LCI Nashville CoP is excited to offer an overview of how TVD can make the most of early collaboration between the owner, designers, and builders from the onset.

Speakers:

Denis Stroup, Barge Design Solutions, is a licensed architect with over 30 years’ experience focusing on integrated lean project delivery and healthcare design.  Denis has a passion for building and sustaining a culture that fosters a highly collaborative environment where people do their best work.

Rachel Waner, J.E. Dunn Construction has 13 years of Lean construction experience spanning the energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial sectors. As a Lean Manager with JE Dunn Construction in Nashville she has coached dozens of teams on lean tools and culture, including the Last Planner System, 5S, and Small Wins. She is passionate about helping teams reduce waste and frustration by centering the people closest to the work and developing environments with healthy conflict and high trust.

Guest parking is in the building parking garage. The entrance to this garage is off 3rd Avenue.
Park in the first spot available and enter the lobby doors and/or take elevator to L1.
