5S and Lean

According to the Lean Construction Institute’s book, “Transforming Design and Construction: a Framework for Change,” 5S is the disciplined approach to maintaining order in the workplace, using visual controls to eliminate waste. During this event we will be reviewing 3 simple tips to deploy 5S on your jobsite or workspace and perform a Study Action Team (SAT) exercise to help maintain order in our workspaces.
