The Golden Principles to Building Strong and Effective Teams

Join NOLA Lean for an insightful conversation with Ryan Fitzgerald, General Manager of NOLA Gold, The New Orleans Rugby Team as he discusses his experiences in constructing robust and effective teams. We will explore how the application of Lean Construction principles build strong teams for both short-term and long-term projects. Ryan will share his best practices and techniques for creating interconnected, cohesive, and high-performing teams, drawing from his wealth of experience as a seasoned and accomplished team builder in his military and rugby career




  • Ryan Fitzgerald, NOLA Gold Rugby
    Ryan is a native of Wind Lake, Wisconsin, is a decorated rugby player, U.S. Marine, and professional football scout. In 2003, following a standout career at Muskego High School as a lock and back row player, Fitzgerald was selected to represent the United States u19 World Cup squad in France. Afterward, he took a four-year hiatus from rugby to serve his country with the U.S. Marines. From 2003 – 2007, Fitzgerald served two tours in Iraq with the Marines’ 3rd Battalion.


Registration comes with one free ticket to Saturday 04/06/2024 Match The NOLA Gold VS The Dallas Jackals 2PM.  There will be a NOLA tailgate prior to the event.  Additional tickets for the game, in the NOLA Lean reserved section, can be purchased after registration via a link that will be provided in a follow up email.
