Project stakeholders have varying roles in the execution of a project and each comes with goals in mind that define project success from their point of view. Lean project teams must understand each stakeholder’s goals and clearly define the conditions which will satisfy those goals.  This workshop will allow participants to become project stakeholders learning how to define Conditions of Satisfaction (COS), make reliable commitments required by the COS, and hold each other accountable for promises and commitments. Participants will understand the value of these commitments and how to keep the project team aligned with the COS throughout the project.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the definition and basis for Conditions of Satisfaction.
• Understand the value of defining Conditions of Satisfaction with the project team and their impact on project success.
• Understand the process for developing Conditions of Satisfaction.
• Identify tools to align the team with the project’s Conditions of Satisfaction and keep the team aligned throughout the project.

Speakers:

Bryan Wahl, Bostwick Design Partnership, brings an advanced understanding of the application of Lean methods to the design process and is recognized as a national leader in Lean Project Delivery. Bryan applies over 20 years of experience in project management to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with high quality.

Joe Schilens is a Regional Lean Manager with Turner Construction where he has over 20 years of experience.  Joe has led multiple teams with the use of Lean Methodologies including the Last Planner System achieving predictable and timely project deadlines.
