Getting Decisions That Stick!

Every project is shaped by hundreds of decisions, yet many teams struggle with indecision, repeated discussions, and costly late-stage changes. In this engaging and practical session, Kurt Neubek explores why decisions often fail to hold and provides actionable strategies to help project teams make informed, durable decisions that keep projects moving forward.

Drawing on decades of experience leading complex design and construction projects, Kurt examines the psychology behind decision-making, the impact of different decision-making styles, and the information people need to confidently commit to a course of action. Participants will learn proven techniques to improve alignment, reduce rework, and build a culture where decisions are made efficiently—and stick.

Attendees will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to foster better collaboration, minimize costly re-decisions, and improve project outcomes for owners, designers, and builders alike.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the psychology of decision-making and different decision-making styles.
  • Identify the information stakeholders need to make confident decisions.
  • Explore proven techniques that lead to better-informed, more durable decisions.
