Join us for a Gemba Walk at the Global Research and Development Center project in Brecksville, OH. The event will start with an overview of Gemba Walks, followed by discussing the value of four Lean initiatives implemented on the new, 600,000 SF Global Research and Development Center.

The four Lean process to be discussed on this Gemba walk are:

• Building the right environment through Safety culture
• VDC Technology to improve Quality
• LPS / Takt / Punch List Takt Plan to create flow

• A3 Decision Making and Problem Solving.

A Gemba walk is a visual and purposeful review at the source of the work to thoroughly see and understand the process along with the value created by these processes.

Speakers:

• Todd Gerber is a Senior Project Executive for Welty Gilbane Joint Venture.  He is a Core Member of LCI Northern Ohio Community of Practice
• Neale Whitehead is a Virtual Design Manager for Welty Gilbane Joint Venture.
• Mike Manfresca is a Safety Manager for Welty Gilbane Joint Venture
• Logan Gresock is a Lead Superintendent for Welty Gilbane Joint Venture

Please bring mandatory PPE (Hardhat, Safety Glasses, High Visibility Vest, Safety Toe Shoes).
