How “Project Conditions of Satisfaction” are essential for High Performing Teams
The LCI New England Community of Practice in partnership with BAECL and CMAA invite you to join us for a “Learning-by-Doing” Workshop: How “Project Conditions of Satisfaction” are essential for High Performing Teams
Setting up a project properly from the start is crucial since it is challenging to re-focus a project team mid-stream once it has gone off the rails. In particular, the Lean Construction community has advocated that projects develop “Project Conditions of Satisfaction (CoS)” at the project start to improve alignment between stakeholders, coordinate their work, and build a High Performing Team.
We will explore these topics as a lead-in to reviewing and working on real case studies from local Owners.
Learning-by-Doing: Attendees will engage in a simulation at the workshop start to learn about the value of establishing Project CoS. They will then be challenged to form small groups and develop Project CoS for a real-world project with a local Owner as their guide. We will then review each team’s Project CoS to provide feedback on their efforts.
Join us for this highly interactive “Learning-by-Doing” workshop! We hope to see you there!
Workshop Details: This workshop will clarify and demystify Project CoS so any motivated project team can use this powerful tool on their next project. We will dig into:
- The difference between Project CoS vs. project charters, missions, visions, and goals
- How an Owner’s business objectives and critical to success factors influence the establishment of Project CoS
- What’s the best technique – that is, the quickest, most effective way to develop Project CoS when you have limited time to work with your project stakeholders
