OAKLAND Lean Happy Hour: Hot issues for 2024
Join us for a Lean Happy Hour to learn and support each other in our Lean endeavors! We want to hear about the problems you are solving, the issues you want to solve, and lessons you’ve learned on your Lean Journey. Based on these conversations you’ll help provide more relevant topics for our monthly presentations. We welcome participants from cross functional roles as designers, constructors, owners, trade partners, and associations propose discussion topics around any subject about which they want to learn – THERE ARE NO IRRELEVANT DISCUSSION TOPICS!
Speakers:
- Jeff Long, JW Long Consulting LLC, brings business acumen in project management, executive coaching, and process improvement. Managing multi-million dollar projects for major clients like the U.S. Department of Energy, Bechtel, Chevron, and AT&T, Jeff is a seasoned Six Sigma Master Black Belt. Renowned for implementing Lean practices, he mentors teams and lead roles in functional areas.
- Vic Ortiz, Ortiz Consulting, (MA, Psychology) has more than 40 years of experience as a trainer, coach and consultant. Vic has trained over 3,000 professionals in Lean practices, meeting facilitation, collaborative teamwork, and successful organization change. Vic has been involved with the Lean Construction Institute since its beginning and facilitated many of the original organizing meetings of LCI.
