Building on a basic understanding of the Last Planner System®, this intermediate workshop helps participants move from conceptual awareness to practical application. Participants will engage with the five connected planning conversations of LPS® and practice how each conversation supports more reliable workflow, clearer commitments, and more predictable project outcomes.
This session will focus on applying LPS® in real project conditions through multimedia examples, hands-on interactions, diagrams, worksheets, group exercises, and practical workflow discussions. Participants will explore how Milestone Planning, Phase Pull Planning, Lookahead Planning, Weekly Work Planning, Daily Commitment Management, constraint management, Percent Plan Complete, and variance learning work together as one connected production planning system.
Instructors will survey attendees to better understand their current experience level, project challenges, and areas of interest. Where applicable, instructors will share advanced workflow examples that connect LPS® principles to real project execution, helping participants see how the system can be adapted and improved in the field.
