  • Paul Pejsa
    Paul is an accomplished leader in the field of organizational excellence, with 30+ years’ experience spanning manufacturing, service and healthcare. Strength areas include operations management, strategy development and deployment, implementation of lean management systems, and facilitation of improvement work. As an independent consultant, he teaches and coaches in these areas from front line staff to the C - Suite. Recent accomplishments by Paul’s clients in the healthcare field include reduction in inpatient falls by 70% and improvement in time to discharge by 30%.  ER clients improved door-to-provider time by 20% and reduced the number of patients leaving before triage by 25%. In his prior role as Manager of Catalysis' Healthcare Value Network ( www.createvalue.org ), Paul worked with 60+ North American healthcare organizations to drive principle – based organizational excellence transformations. Network members achieved improved care delivery, better patient outcomes and reduced cost of care.
    Paul’s commitment to organizational excellence extends to the development and delivery of process improvement classes at the American Society for Quality and the University of Wisconsin, speaking engagements with the American College of Healthcare Executives and volunteer faculty and advisory council positions at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). He is the two-time recipient of MCW’s Outstanding Medical Student Teacher award. Credentials include achievement of Fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Lean Bronze Level Certification through the Shingo Institute, advanced leadership training through GE’s Management Development Institute, Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification, an MBA in Operations through Marquette University, and an MS in Engineering.
